Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?
I believe that everybody not looking at their credit or racial background should have the chance for someone to trust in their dreams, and that's why I'm offering myself as a trustee for others.
Tell us about your profession or other relevant background.
I have about 10 years of house keeping experience and also have worked in pastries as the person in charge of organizing the personnel of that place for several years. In those professions I have learned to give opportunities to other people to help them succeed, and believe in them so they can pursue their happiness and goals.
Do you belong to any professional networks -- nationally, regionally, or locally? If yes, please list.
No
How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?
The main criteria is that the borrower must have a real desire to overcome difficulties and succeed in his or her purposes. They must be determined, responsible, honest and be completely trustworthy. I will also have to really know the person and the plan for the loan.
How do you plan to support the borrower, both before and after the loan is disbursed?
I will help by advising on logistics and financials as far as I can, based on my experience. I could use my network as well to help their business with potential clients, and be there to help with my knowledge if needed.
How will you help us ensure that the loans you endorse have a significant and positive social impact?
Analyzing case by case, I will ensure that the loan will have a positive impact in the life of the borrower and his or her family. Also, ideally loans I endorse will generate future job positions and help with the development of a community.
