Personal Story

i was born in a small village known as Masikhu in Bungoma. As a small child i remember life to have been exciting as i grew under the care of my parents and grand parents. I went to school in the village and later joined medical training in Nakuru in 1981.
At the moment i am running a clinic near my home. sometimes my husband who is also trained as a clinical officer helps me at the clinic. the clinic has been there since 2006 and now has grown to serving more than 20 patients ever day.

Business Description

It is a clinic offering curative, preventative and promotive services. I also offer immunizations for the children and do counselling and testing for HIV/AIDS.

My biggest challenge is when i treat very sick patient but hey do not have enough money to pay for all the drugs. some get to pay through their relatives later or once they are well they go for casual work and come back to pay for the treatment.

my customers are mainly children and mothers.
